    Description
    Provide strategic leadership for the systems and programs administered by the agency to promotes public safety.

    Provide management oversight and analysis to support the development and integration of critical technology systems to ensure solutions meet the business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.


    JOB DUTIES:
    25% - Essential - Leadership: Motivate and monitor team to meet project milestones, quality, risks, issues, and performance. Recruits and leads a proactive, service-oriented team, fostering an environment that promotes professional growth and staff development. Directly responsible for the daily supervision of staff members assigned.

    25% - Essential - System Research and Planning: Investigate and research the latest market trends in the areas of video surveillance and management, access control, credentialing, and data analytics.

    Create short-term and long-term proposals based on research and emerging demands.

    30% - Essential - Project Management: Plan, organize, and execute tasks to support the public safety mission and overall vision for the University.

    Serve as project leader on small to enterprise-wide projects. Collaborates with partners to develop project plans, establishes deadlines, monitors project progress, and ensures accountability. Manage budgets to assure fiscal responsibility and compliance.

    15% - Essential - Collaboration & Outreach: Collaborate with senior leaders and work with stakeholders including CCIT, Housing, and campus partners to develop and maintain software solutions supporting Public Safety.

    Prepare and deliver professional quality written and oral reports to staff, end users, and management as required.
    Education - 1st Bachelor's Degree - Relevant Program Management Experience.
    Education - 1st Master's Degree - Project Management, Systems Analysis, Information Technology, or a related field of study

    Manages Work of Others - Manages work of others including hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.

    Plans organizational structure and job content.
    Required to staff EOC during emergency situations. Availability to work flexible schedules ( day and or/night, holidays, weekends, on-call, etc. ) 5% - Overnight Travel

    ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL Emergency Response- Level 1
    Required to maintain/resume essential support functions, deliver direct care services, and/or provide recovery support before normal operations resume. Some positions in this category may be required to work remotely or be on-call.
