Remote Full-Time Virginia Consumer Debt Settlement Attorney

Huron Law Group is an established and rapidly growing national debt relief law firm focused on

providing cost-effective legal representation to consumers. Our firm is currently seeking an

enthusiastic and personable, remote, full-time attorney, licensed in the state of Virginia to oversee debt settlement files and provide limited-scope legal assistance.

Responsibilities will include providing limited-scope legal assistance, including handling a

volume of telephone consultations, settlement oversight, file reviews, and review/approval of pro se answer drafts prepared by the firm's paralegals. This role will require a significant amount of time on the phone with consumer clients to ensure they understand the debt settlement process. Accordingly, preferred candidates are upbeat, engaging, patient, and truly enjoy client interaction and customer service, with a goal of alleviating potential worry during a financially stressful time.

This position is fully remote, enabling the attorney to telecommute from any location.

The annual salary is $80,000.00 and includes 10 days of paid time off with increases over time, 9 paid holidays, payment of bar membership and continuing legal education, yearly reviews with raises up to 5% per year, and discretionary bonuses. Benefits include health, vision, dental, and short-term disability insurance.

Qualifications:

Licensed and in good standing with the Virginia Bar Association

Experience in consumer debt defense and/or collections preferred but not required
