    Software Engineer - Siemen's PLC - Contractor - Onsite

    Role Summary:

    The Software Engineer to assist with upgrade support, and deployments of software products. In this role, you will drive the on-time delivery and engaged in a team focused environment for the purpose of executing requisition projects and software upgrades.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    Working knowledge in the development/ use of

    Siemens PLCs coding scope

    Code – Java, C++, Java Script, HTML5, JavaScript, Python.

    Mobile Frameworks – iOS, React Native or similar.

    Database - MySQL, PostGres, NoSQL.

    Basic knowledge in Front end Software design, UI/UX interfaces

    Basic Networking skills with the ability to configure hardware.

    Ability to utilize Drivers and Applications in Run Time and Remote Access.

    Ability to develop Automation tools to manage Code Development and help improve the quality of the code.

    Support the development of updates from QA to Production Server environments locally and in the Cloud.

    Knowledge of Building UI, Reports, Data Models, Abstract Physical DataModel to Connect/Migrate Legacy System Data with Commercial DataBase/ Cloud Systems.

    Understanding of Frameworks for Developing High Performance SCADA/ Drilling/ Big Data Mining/ RM&D UI Applications.

    Able to define API's, Provide Interfaces and Tools for Data Consolidation and Visualization for Wide Suite of Asset Management, Process Management and Documentation Teams.

    Able to adapt and execute Agile Process for Requirements, Design, Develop and to Test Software.\

    Qualifications/ Requirements:

    Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Controls/ Computer Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college or university with a minimum with 3yrs of experience or a minimum of 6 years of applicable work experience

    • Product knowledge of Oil and Gas Rigs Onshore and offshore.


    • Self-Driven, able to Technically Influence and manage a Team


    • Ability to work onsite and in a team environment on short or long term projects


    • Strong oral and written communication skills, able to sell the Architecture to the Stake Holders


    • Good presentation skills


    • Cyber security framework knowledge

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
