    Position: Manager, Market and Pricing Analytics

    Report to Title: Vice President, Marketing

    Location: Remote

    Date: August 2023

    The Market Analyst & Pricing Manager will play a key role in conducting market research and analysis to ensure our company is able to make market-informed, data-driven decisions to enhance our business strategy and price positioning.

    Responsibilities

    Research and Analysis:

  • Responsible for independently managing outside agency research, market size, and growth data research
  • Develop and track company market intelligence and partners with Market Intelligence Agencies, Industry institutions, Marketeers, Product Managers, Sales, and other business stakeholders to build insightful market intelligence and market share reports
  • Insight:

  • Identify and communicate new data center builds, new SOP of motive launches (new carts, AWPs etc.), and key insights on market activity
  • Research and track emerging technologies and trends
  • Responsible for regular communication and presentations of relevant market intelligence with cross-functional teams and Executive leadership
  • Pricing:

  • Conduct pricing research & analysis from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends
  • Prepare analysis of data and reports to support competitive pricing across our product portfolio
  • Collaborate with Product Management team and VP of Marketing to co-develop and drive execution of our value-based pricing strategies.
  • Designs and maintains analytical pricing dashboards.
  • Job Specific Proficiencies

  • Experienced in primary and secondary research with customers, stakeholders, and analysts
  • Ability to employ software tools and dashboards, draws concise, insightful conclusions from large amounts of data
  • Demonstrate innovative ways to acquire market intelligence and develop new strategies to enhance market intelligence.
  • Ability to standardize databases to improve value, service and efficiencies
  • Global awareness and is experienced to interface with international markets (LATAM, EMEA)
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or Economics
  • 5+ years experience in market research, data analytics, and developing relevant market insights to create strategies
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Expert in Microsoft Suite specifically, strong Excel skills
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Tableau or Power BI
