    As a 9th Grade Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering students' curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry skills. You will have the opportunity to engage students in hands-on experiments, interactive demonstrations, and meaningful discussions that bring science to life and deepen their understanding of scientific concepts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lessons that align with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards for 9th grade science.
    • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology to facilitate student learning and promote active participation in the scientific process.
    • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and contribute to discussions.
    • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with varying abilities and backgrounds.
    • Design and administer assessments to measure student progress and provide timely feedback to support their growth and development.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular connections and promote interdisciplinary learning experiences.
    • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success and promote a culture of academic excellence.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Valid Texas teaching certification in Science (grades
    • Prior experience teaching science at the high school level, preferably with 9th-grade students.
    • Strong knowledge of 9th-grade science content and pedagogy, including biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science.
    • Enthusiasm for hands-on learning experiences and a commitment to promoting inquiry-based instruction.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
    • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a willingness to stay current with advancements in science education.
