Loews Hotels & Co is excited to introduce the new Loews Kansas City Hotel in Missouri. Featuring 800 rooms and 60,000 square feet of meeting & function space, the hotel connects to the 800,000 square foot Kansas City Convention Center via a sky bridge. This is the first hotel tailored for groups & meetings to open in Kansas City in over 20 years. The hotel boasts two signature restaurants, a Grab & Go bakery, and a rooftop lounge, all within a striking 24-story all-glass building that stands out in the city's skyline. Situated in the heart of downtown Kansas City, Loews Kansas City is part of the city's vibrant and ever-expanding landscape.

Job Specifics

• Stocks and maintains supplies in all service areas
• Inspects and prepares all service ware before use
• Clears soiled plates and service ware from tables to the dish wash area
• Cleans and pre-sets tables with service ware
• Greets guests and supports Servers in serving water and beverages
• Removes unnecessary place settings from tables
• Transports food trays from the kitchen to tables
• May aid Servers in presenting meals for large groups and during busy periods
• Ensures cleanliness in the dining room and service areas
• Assists with post-meal cleanup and side work duties
• Performs other assigned duties

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Capable of walking, standing, bending, lifting, and carrying trays weighing 35+ pounds repetitively throughout the shift
• Outstanding guest service skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
