Job requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Professional Engineer license.
8 or more years of experience in civil design in industrial construction projects.
Autodesk Civil 3D experience.
Ability to do hands-on design while holding a more senior level title.
Day to Day:
This position is responsible for managing all aspects and phases of civil engineering design development practices in adherence to the U.S.
This person will be observing and assistant with reviewing calculations and designs Work closely with the field team and answer their questions and challenges Review processes in client meetings and get with the government to review designs and make sure it meets RFP and UFC requirements They will be doing permitting-writing reports for analysis of the site plans Observe sites and deal with challenges for grade for storm water, and existing infrastructure They will be working on new AND rebuild/renovation structures such as HQ buildings, waterline repairs, storm water replacements, buildings for site development They will be running with multiple projects at once depending on the amount of workload they have Travel once a moth might be required to go on the field depending on the project This person will be very involved in doing the hands on designing.
This role is onsite in Jacksonville, FL. The salary is $130,000-$160,000 annually plus benefits.Similar jobs
