Description
Job DescriptionSupport all engineering and analysis projects within BadgerWorks, utilizing digital tools such as Creo, Nastran and other common Digital Engineering toolsDevelop and writing test and qualification plans, test plans and technical publications for all BadgerWorks projects.
Support Engineering activities with occasional travel to perform and supervise testing, analysis and support conferences and symposiums for ASRC Federal.
RequirementsMechanical Engineer with PhD plus 15+ years in Mechanical Engineering and Materials and stress / strain analysis using common and advanced FEA tools such as Nastran and AnsysVery strong mathematical skills required along with significant experience in DoD qualification requirements for analysis and test.15+ years experience in Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and testing protocols with advanced materials developing devices and assemblies across Defense air platforms and weapons platforms, among other projects.
Prefer candidate who has direct experience with Nastran or ANSYS FEA tools as well as the ability to formulate testing, evaluation and qualification protocols in a highly complex and fast-paced facility.
