*JOB SUMMARY*

Rheumatology Specialists of CT Inc is seeking a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join our growing collegial group full-time. With a strong referral base of primary care physicians and rising patient demand this is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking to make a meaningful impact in an outpatient setting. _Responsibilities of the position include:_

- Diagnosing and treating patients with rheumatic diseases

- Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans

- Educating patients and families about conditions and treatment options

_EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:_

- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

- Clean background and criminal record

- Familiarity with an Electronic Health Record EHR preferred

_CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS:_

- Graduate of an accredited Medical or Osteopathic Medical School

- Completion of an appropriate residency program

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology

- Must be able to obtain staff privileges at affiliate regional medical centers

- Licensed or eligible for State of Connecticut physician license

- Eligible for Connecticut Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
