Description

At SPIN Global, a Maryland-based public benefit corporation that exists to disrupt disasters on a global scale, we seek highly qualified individuals to build a deployment-ready team prepared to support response operations as opportunities arise. To be eligible, applicants must possess a FEMA Entry on Duty (EOD) certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Lifecycle Management: Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects to ensure timely delivery and optimal results.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to meet project objectives and drive success.
Comprehensive Project Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and fostering open communication.
Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and best practices.
Process Optimization: Utilize project management tools and methodologies to streamline processes and maximize outcomes.

Requirements:

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrate a successful history of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
Critical Skills: Possess exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Communication and Interpersonal Abilities: Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Technical Proficiency: Be proficient in project management tools and frameworks.
On-Site Work Requirements: Be willing to work onsite in North Carolina.
EOD Certification: Hold a valid FEMA Entry on Duty (EOD) certification.
