About the Position
The Westbrook School Department is seeking Bus Drivers to join our Transportation team. As a school bus driver, the selected candidate will have a valid Maine Class B driver's license with S (School Bus) & P (Passenger) endorsements. If you are looking for a positive and fun workplace atmosphere where you are valued for your contributions to the team and are an integral part of our work family, we want to hear from you. As a bus driver for Westbrook School Transportation you will play an important role in providing the safe and reliable transportation of our students to and from their academic settings. If you possess a genuine affection for children and want to play a pivotal role in their successes, this is the position for you. We provide paid training for individuals looking to get their Class B school bus license as well as ongoing safety training for all drivers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3. Valid Maine Class B Driver's License with School Bus & Passenger endorsements.
4. Appropriate licensing to meet Maine laws and regulations.
5. Must pass an annual physical.
6. Valid DOE fingerprinting certification.

The Westbrook School Transportation Department is a positive workplace environment dedicated to the safe and friendly transportation of all students.
We offer a supportive environment for all drivers that includes a collaborative relationship with school administration to address any student transportation issues.
We have a dedicated group of driving professionals that work together to problem solve and to make our department an enjoyable place to work each day.
We employ two full-time staff mechanics that ensure that all of our transportation vehicles are meticulously maintained and that each driver feels confident that their assigned vehicle is always in safe working order.
Our transportation fleet is compromised of late model vehicles that offer the best in safety and comfort for both the driver and the student.
