    Description

    Job Title: Asset Manager

    At LDG Development, we are committed to providing quality affordable housing across the nation. As an Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive the best living experience possible by maintaining high-quality communities and programs.

    The Asset Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans to enhance cash flow and profitability. This includes monitoring financial operating results, overseeing cash management, and reviewing monthly financial reviews.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate overall property performance to develop and implement a strategic business plan.
    • Monitor and evaluate financial operating results to enhance cash flow and profitability.
    • Oversee cash management for properties and review monthly cash forecasts.
    • Develop and approve annual operating budgets and project annual cash flows.
    • Collaborate with property management to identify challenges and execute timely and effective solutions.
    • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with Section 42 (LIHTC) provisions and partnership agreements.
    • Review new deal handoff documents, construction plans, and deal summaries to understand investment underwriting and General Partner rights and responsibilities.
    • Develop strategies to achieve lease-up goals and investment benchmarks.
    • Monitor first-year tenant file audits and address any issues.
    • Provide feedback to Development on underwriting for proposed developments.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3-5 years of relevant experience in multi-family asset management or 5 years of relevant experience at the regional property management level.
    • Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Real Estate, Finance, or Business preferred.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an emphasis in financial analysis.
    • Understanding of real estate accounting principles and financial reporting procedures.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, with a strong understanding of Excel.
    • Able to work proactively, independently, and as a strategic partner in a team environment.
    • Strong ability to communicate effectively, both in oral and written form.
