Job Overview

A Painting Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for assessing painting projects, estimating costs, managing budgets, coordinating resources, and overseeing the execution of painting projects from conception to completion.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise in painting techniques, excellent project management skills, and strong interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients, suppliers, and project teams effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience as a Painting Estimator/Project Management
• Proficient is using On Screen Takeoff, Procore, Excel, etc for takeoff and estimations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, suppliers and team members.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze project requirements thoroughly.
• Time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Problem solving skills to address unexpected issues or changes in project scopes, labor, equipment, etc.
• Basic understanding of business principles, including budgeting, cost controls and profit margins.
