    Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at CHRISTUS Spohn



    Summary:
    Join our team at CHRISTUS Spohn as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) providing nursing care to assigned patients under the guidance of a licensed professional. You will offer primary care to a specific group of patients working with a Registered Nurse to collect patient data and ensure a collaborative approach to patient care. The Medical Surgical Gastro unit focuses on GI cases, handling conditions like cirrhosis, hepatitis, bowel obstructions, pancreatitis, colitis, Crohn's disease, and GI bleeds. In addition to non-surgical cases, we also care for post-surgery patients. Our unit is fast-paced, offering a valuable teamwork experience for all team members.

    Requirements:
    - Graduate from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
    - Acceptance of new graduates from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
    - Current Texas State LVN license. CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
