Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Associates degree required.
• Preferred experiences in Adult & geriatric care. Setting to include inpatient acute care and/or outpatient.

Including diagnosis:
Musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, integumentary.

• Florida license or eligible for Florida license. Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider (CPR & AED) certification.

About the Job:
Provides patients with physical therapy treatments in accordance with established policies, procedures, and state laws. Assists in departmental operation and acts as leader for other rehab techs. Participates in community health services sponsored by ShorePoint Health Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda.


Reports directly to:
Rehabilitation Clinical Manager & Director of Rehabilitation Services.
