    About the location:
    Sleek urban retreat in the Pacific Northwest. Surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks, deep-blue waters and swaths of evergreen forests, Seattle is as wild as it is trendy. Our Hotel puts you in the heart of the city's downtown, with the Seattle Art Museum on one side, iconic Pike Place Market on another and the waters of Elliott Bay gleaming to the west. Wake to a fresh cup of coffee delivered straight to your room, then head out to explore eclectic neighbourhoods and craft breweries, or spend the day hiking up nearby Mount Rainier or kayaking on Lake Union.     Key Elements of the Job
    • Participates in the service, setup and removal of food and beverage during banquet functions
    • Maintains knowledge of menu items to be able to confidently describe food during plated and buffet meals along with receptions
    • Communicates guest orders including any special needs, dietary restrictions or requests to the kitchen
    • Delivers food and beverage to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure food quality
    • Anticipates guests' needs and responds promptly with utmost care and attention
    • Ascertains satisfaction and offers suggestions in enhancing the guest experience
    • Breakdowns, cleans and set-up of tables, food buffets and beverage stations
    • Ensures Four Seasons service standards of excellence are achieved
    • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
    Preferred Qualifications and Skills
    • Strong food & beverage knowledge is required
    • Food Handler Card and MAST Alcohol Permit is required at time of hire
    • Maintain ownership of duties through hard work and discipline
    • Flexible scheduling requiring availability of morning, afternoon, evening, weekends and holidays
    • Banquet experience preferred
    • Bartending skills is a plus
    • Positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
    • Strong work ethic which includes a drive to grow, improve and learn everyday
    • Energetic approach to his/her craft
    • Calm composure under pressure
