Breakpoint Labs is searching for Network Specialists with strong Network Admin skills to support the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) Integrated Technical Services -Restricted (HITS-R) contract located either on-site at either San Diego, CA or, APG, MD.

This position will provide the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) with technical and professional support elements required for the operation of the HPCMP Office (HPCMPO).

The Position Responsibilities are:

• Troubleshooting network performance issues, outages, etc. across largescale DoD enterprise R&D networks.
• Operate networking infrastructure (i.e., routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) to provide networkrelated support, as part of a network operations center (NOC).
• Respond to customer inquiries requiring network operations and LAN/WAN administration issues.
• Analyze network traffic for anomalous and/or malicious activity.

Required Experience:

• BA/S in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related field is required.

However, experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Relevant technical experience is required.
• Intermediatetoadvanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite—Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Intermediatetoadvanced Linux experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Required Certifications:
Security + CE
Linux Cert is preferred as well


SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Must currently hold a security clearance and be clearable to the level of Top Secret as Top Secret/SCI clearance may be required upon hire.
