    Are you a Nurse Practitioner (NP) looking for a rewarding and challenging role in psychiatric care? Ridgeview Institute Smyrna is seeking compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioners to join our team.

    As an NP at our hospital, you will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to our patients. You will coordinate decision-making with the psychiatrist, perform clinical assessments, and develop treatment plans. Our team includes psychiatrists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, therapists, and educators. We are looking for someone who can establish empathy and a person-centered approach to patients, recognize their limitations, and respond to difficult situations with skill and professionalism.

    • Conduct follow-up visits after initial assessments
    • Participate in weekly staffing and family sessions
    • Prescribe pharmacologic interventions as necessary
    • Review laboratory and diagnostic test results
    • Consult with attending psychiatrists and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to perform clinical assessments, adhering to psychiatric and medical nursing procedures
    • Communicate with patients, families, and others to obtain required information
    Qualifications

    Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:
    • Education & Licensure: Completion of a Master's Program (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) from an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the State of Georgia.
    • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting, preferred.
    • Additional Skill Requirements: Comprehensive liability insurance, current CPR/First Aid certification, CPI Training and current DEA license.

    Compensation:
