- Education: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
- A licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida.
- PGY1 residency or a minimum of three (3) years of clinical hospital experience, preferred.
- Collaborate on our pharmacy leadership team to grow the pharmacy department into the best department Lead a team of pharmacists, technicians, residents and students.
- Actively participate on the pharmacy and therapeutics committee.
- Liaison with nursing, physicians and various departments throughout the hospital.
- Ensure compliance with the board of pharmacy, USP 797, USP 800, the joint commission and other regulatory bodies.
- Manage the day to day operation of the pharmacy, including the pharmacy schedule and payroll.
- Staff as needed in the department.
- Provides educational services to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Participates in the training of new pharmacist, residents, students and technicians.
