Description
TheLead Perioperative Care Tech reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
In addition to the Perioperative Care Technician II (PCT II) essential job functions, the Lead Perioperative Care Tech works under the direction of a professional registered nurse to support unit and patient care needs.
This individual assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment, and participates in the department's continuous quality improvement and activities.
The Lead Perioperative Care Tech is an energetic, customer-oriented individual who functions as a central coordinator and educator for the POCT IIs team.
This position provides coordination which includes daily oversight, scheduling, quality oversight, orientation of new POCT II and input into the annual staff evaluations.
