- Clinical Details
- Rounding on In-Patients, performing procedures as needed, and responding to consults as called upon
- Census for unit usually grows to 20-25 over the weekend, with 15-20 consults each weekend also
- Level I Trauma Center
- No APP Support on weekends
- Standard urology procedures include stone care, stents, caths, cystoscopes, torsions (pediatrics included), incidental appendectomy, adrenal surgery, hernia repair, endourology procedures, hand assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy, etc.
- Requirements
- Active SC license, CSR and DEA
- BC in Urology
- Must be available to cover dates listed
- Robotics not required as this is not performed on weekends.
- MUST be comfortable with trauma/open procedures - i.e. gun shot wounds that involves kidneys or testicles, stab wounds, bladder repair, etc.
