Job summary
This position supervises nursing staff in an outpatient setting. The supervisor works under the general nursing process while using independent judgment to assign nurses, technicians, and nursing care to assigned patients.The supervisor designates shift and schedule assignments, calls in staff, sends staff home, monitors attendance,
and ensures adequate staffing to meet patient census.
