    At Eiland Coffee Canyon Creek, our baristas set the tone for our incredible customer experience. To help set this tone, its important for us to equip our baristas with the necessary tools to provide a high quality and consistent product. Our staff will be diligently trained to confidently represent Eiland Coffee Roasters, our flagship wholesale roasting operation. The barista role is vitally important to providing excellent service by listening to customers, providing solutions that are feasible, timely and showcase Eiland Coffee quality.     Responsibilities:

    Acknowledge and greet each customer with enthusiasm and professionalism

    Engage and discover customer needs through clear and pleasant communication

    Uphold and perform quality standards according to Eiland Policy

    Always maintain a clean and orderly workplace

    Perform standard barista tasks such as brewing drip coffee, making espresso-based drinks, preparing teas and more

    Suggestively sell food and beverage with confidence and enthusiasm

    Maintain knowledge of all retail coffees, products and menu items

    Ensure proper food and drink preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards

    Enhance coffee shop experience and reputation by accomplishing new and different requests as given by the caf manager and exploring new opportunities to add value.

    Details

    Hiring both Full time (30-40hrs) and Part Time

    Compensation is based on hourly wage PLUS tips

    Must be 18 or older, as alcohol will be served

    TABC and Food Handlers licenses will be required

    Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

    Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
