Position Overview: The Engineering Manager is a critical role in leading the engineering function. This position involves planning engineering programs, reviewing design recommendations, purchasing equipment, and ensuring that engineering activities align with organizational objectives. The Engineering Manager leads cross-functional teams to ensure successful product outcomes from concept to production and market introduction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process & Technology Leadership:
• leadership to Design Engineering, Tooling Development, and New Technology/Materials Development teams.
• cross-functional teams to improve new product processes using Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma techniques.
• with Sales and R&D to support successful launches of new materials and technologies.
• high-quality idea-to-launch and portfolio management processes.
• informed about process benchmarks, performance metrics, and emerging best practices.
• post-launch reviews to identify effective practices and patterns.
• technical leadership in development processes, implementing Design for Manufacturability standards.
• seeks ways to enhance current manufacturing methods and technologies.
• strong internal and external customer relationships.
• efficient utilization of components, materials, and tools.
• and implements strategic plans for the Engineering team aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• degree in engineering or related field (master's preferred).
• experience in engineering leadership roles.
• knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• communication and team-building skills.
• mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
