- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids, using automated equipment and manual techniques.
- Analyze test results, interpret findings, and report accurate data to physicians and other healthcare professionals in a timely manner.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with quality control standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, provide clinical support, and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in medical technology, laboratory techniques, and best practices to enhance the quality of patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by a recognized accrediting agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT, AAB) is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
