Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a familiarity of fiber optic components such as lasers, electro-optic modulator, and photodetectors.

The individual should have experience with Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC) for both Microwave Photonics applications as well as spectroscopy and chemical and biological sensing.

The individual should have demonstrated skills such as creative and independent problem solving along with good verbal and written communication skills.

They should have a familiarity with common computer languages, e.g. Matlab, Comsol, Python , etc.
