    Job Description

    The Senior Account Manager is responsible for utilizing expertise in Information Technology products and services to prospect potential customers through inbound leads and outbound prospecting campaigns.

    A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills, handling confidential information.

    This is a commissioned position earning $70,000 annually plus commission on sales for unlimited earning potential.

    Responsibilities

    • Prospect new companies through lead follow-up and cold calls/emails
    • Use lead generation techniques to assemble prospective customer lists
    • Maintain relationships with contacts and decision-makers
    • Manage sales cycles, accounts, and pipeline sales forecasts
    • Bring visibility to our server, storage, and networking portfolio
    • Build a pipeline of future business through Internet prospecting and other sources
    • Provide pre-and post-sales support to customers and prospects
    • Understand client industry and business needs through internet research
    • Maintain monthly and annual sales quota and revenue goals
    • Negotiate pricing and terms with customers
    • Overcome technical and business objections
    • Become a product expert in the product lines sold

    Requirements

    • 3-5 years of technology sales experience
    • Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience

    Desired Skills

    • Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, and managed services
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Effective public speaking ability
    • Ability to capture customer business requirements and communicate back to the sales team
    • Superb written and phone communication skills
    • Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
