    Position Overview:
    Expert with healthcare data transformation, analysis, and interpretation. Ownership and support in the creation of detailed analytic models. Perform quantitative and qualitative methods to identify patterns and relationships in large data sets. Report creation and maintenance to empower product teams and guide business decisions.

    Job Description:
    Following is a summary of the essential functions for the Senior Data Analyst. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
    Create, maintain, document, and optimize stored procedures, functions, inline SQL, database structures, and ETL processes to adapt to changes in needs and requirement
    Test coded program routines and makes revisions to eliminate errors
    Analyze and document how the business requirements fit into existing systems
    Create reports to support business needs using T-SQL and SSRS
    Develop technical specifications to resolve business client questions, problems, and to address enhancement needs
    Translate detail program specifications for complex problems into coded computer instructions
    Interface with all IT and business teams to determine/communicate impacts
    Troubleshoot production issues, identifying root cause and implement sound technical resolutions in a timely manner
    Plan, develop, test and install solutions
    Integrate, query, and validate data from external sources for input into SQL based databases for client-facing business intelligence tools and internal analysis
    Lead the business on EMR data collection, processing, archiving, and distribution
    Maintain internal data warehouse and monitor input/output procedures

    Senior role responsibilities:
    Work with IT management team on project priorities and deliverable timelines
    Research, recommend, and develop new methods and procedures for accomplishing tasks and projects
    Analyze issues independently, use judgement to make decisions, and take necessary action
    Mentor and cross-train team members on IT processes, ensuring supportability across the team.
    Provide work direction to less experienced team members
    Review work of other team members for accuracy, adherence to standards, optimization

    Minimum Skills and Competencies:

    Healthcare Data Experience & Knowledge (5+ years)

    ICD10 Codes, Diagnosis Codes, CPT Codes
    Healthcare Claims and Membership Data
    Risk adjustment experience preferred

    Data Analysis for Ad-Hoc Reporting based on above data
    ETL & Reporting using SSIS/SSRS
    Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
    5+ years of experience in the development of SSIS packages
    Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL. Proficiency in PostgresSQL PL/pgSQL desired.
    Strong Knowledge of relational databases
    Demonstrate strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts (data normalization, star schema, etc.)
    Demonstrate proficiency in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle
    Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
    Must perform well in high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environments
    Demonstrates attention to detail, organization, and timeliness in order to meet customer expectations
    Demonstrates effective problem solving skills
    Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
    Work independently with little supervision
    Perform tasks within predefined guidelines and procedures
    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

    Desired Skills:
    Vast understanding of data modeling
    Healthcare insurance and/or risk adjustment knowledge
    Healthcare data experience
    Experience with BI Tools
    Project leadership experience

    PAY RANGE:
    $59, $110,000.00
