    Responsibilities

    As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will play a strategic role in the design of cloud solutions, release strategies, mentoring project teammates on appropriate AWS cloud solutions for business problems and providing mentorship for fellow teammates

    This role will be keenly aware of cloud computing industry and release automation trends to solve technical challenges, and strive to create reliable, resilient, secure, performant and cost-effective solutions.

    Essential Functions of the Job Utilize industry best practices to design and release cloud solutions with architectures that are secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, and auditable.

    Provide systems support as needed
    Identify and remedy single points of failure and security risks
    Mentor DevOps team members and provide input to leadership regarding performance and career growth
    Create organizational patterns and practices for secure, automated, repeatable, and resilient releases

    Work side by side with architects, application development, SRE, security, and platform teammates to ensure solutions are released in a sound and responsible way.

    Design patterns for, create and automate builds/releases for applications
    Create guidance for and act as an active contributor for the organization's IAC approach
    Automate monitoring, alerting, and observability of applications and release health
