    We are seeking an Entry to Mid-Level GIS/Drone Specialist to join our dynamic team at our Mesa, Arizona office. The successful candidate will support our planning, permitting, and construction projects with spatial analysis, cartography, field data collection and reporting, and decision-making processes using geographic information systems and drone technology.
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Collect, organize, and maintain geospatial data.
    • Ensure accuracy and reliability of GIS databases.
    • Produce high-quality maps and visualizations.
    • Create interactive web maps for field use.
    • Conduct spatial analysis for project insights.
    • Coordinate field data collection activities.
    • Utilize GPS technology for data collection.
    • Collaborate with project teams for GIS support.
    • Plan and capture drone footage for projects.
    • Postprocess drone imagery.
    • Integrate drone data into project workflows.
    • Ensure compliance with drone regulations.
    • Maintain drone equipment for optimal performance.
    • Meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Promote a positive and professional image.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field.
    • Proficiency in GIS software and geospatial tools.
    • Eye for high-quality cartography.
    • Familiarity with GPS technology and field data collection.
    • Basic understanding of drone technology.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office proficiency.
    • Proactive problem-solving skills.
    • Collaborative mindset for team effectiveness.
    • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

    • Reliable and punctual work ethic.
    • Up to 25% travel in the western US.
    • Comfortable with remote and off-road travel.
    Preferred Experience
    • 1-3 years of GIS experience, preferably in construction or energy.
    • 1 year of drone operations experience.
    • FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107).
    • Interest in environmental planning or energy infrastructure.
    • Experience in transmission line industry or environmental sector.
    • Proficiency in SharePoint, Adobe Suite, and graphics tools.
