    Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Bethany LTC - Full-Time Days

    The Good Samaritan Society is a not-for-profit organization providing over 100 years of housing and services to seniors with a commitment to quality care and service in a Christian environment.

    Job Summary:

    • Provide individualized nursing care to residents by utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
    • Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to ensure comprehensive care while adhering to state nursing practice standards.
    • Serve as a charge nurse, delegate tasks, and educate residents on health maintenance and treatment options in a supportive, Christian environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
    • Care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
    • Coordinate care, resident assessment, resident education, and various other nursing interventions.
    • May serve as a charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
    • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
    • Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
