Specialized Coating Services, a growing manufacturing company in Fremont, seeks a Documentation Manager to support its expansion.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement document control processes and procedures to ensure accurate management of company documents.

· Manage creation, revision, and distribution of controlled documents, including policies, procedures, specifications, and technical documents.

· Ensure documents are categorized, indexed, and stored systematically and accessibly.

· Maintain document databases and control logs to track document history, status, and revisions.

· Coordinate document reviews and approvals with relevant stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance.

· Monitor document changes and updates, and communicate revisions to appropriate personnel.

· Conduct periodic audits of document control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Provide training and support to staff on document control procedures and systems.

· Assist in implementation of document management software and tools to enhance efficiency and document accessibility.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve document control processes and support quality management initiatives.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, information management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control, information management, or related field.

· Proven experience in developing and implementing document control processes and procedures.

· Experience in AS9100 and/or ISO9001 requirements.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document handling and management.

· Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

· Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to document control.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve document control issues.
