    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct patient examinations and gather medical information.
    • Administer or request diagnostic tests like x-rays, ECGs, and lab tests.
    • Interpret diagnostic test results for abnormalities.
    • Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
    • Instruct and advise patients on adhering to prescribed treatment plans and healthcare maintenance.
    • Develop and implement patient care plans, maintain progress notes, and contribute to continuity of care.
    • Assist in policy development and implementation affecting medical practices and occupational healthcare quality.
    • Support in creating and delivering educational programs.
    • Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, clients, and colleagues while embodying company values.
    • Ensure precision when carrying out tasks, conducting quality assurance checks, and maintaining accurate documentation.
    • Provide compassionate and excellent patient experiences regardless of workload.
    • Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a dynamic environment.
    • Be adaptable to changing business requirements such as scheduling adjustments and working extra hours when necessary.
    • Consistently deliver high-quality care in a busy clinical setting.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited institution.
    • Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (graduate of an accredited program).
    • Successfully passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
    • Current licensed physician assistant as per state laws.
    • Must maintain state licensure throughout employment.

    Job-Related Experience

    • Typically at least one year of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency environment.

    • Knowledge of occupational medicine requirements, clinical operations, and legal regulations.
    • Familiarity with rehabilitation services laws, workers' compensation procedures, and quality care delivery processes.
    • Excellent communication skills and willingness to engage in Continuing Medical Education.

    Additional Data:

    This role offers a base compensation rate ranging from $65 to $70 per hour, subject to various job-related factors and location.

    This position involves access to confidential information requiring ongoing discretion and secure management.
