A Mechanical & Utility Engineer is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company in the Jefferson, WI area.

This position involves overseeing the design, construction, and commissioning of mechanical and utility systems in pet food production facilities, ensuring compliance with company's standards and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

• Broad knowledge of mechanical utility systems, equipment, and P&ID generation.
• Engage with corporate engineering team to understand project scopes and designs.
• Provide mechanical engineering review and management of onsite construction.
• Oversee field observations and commissioning by 3rd party services.
• Review and approve contractor means and methods for construction.
• Evaluate feasibility and cost estimates for new and existing factory sites.

• Process flow development.
• P&ID development and review.
• Equipment submittal review.
• Construction document review and markup.
• Multi-tasking across several projects.
• Troubleshooting mechanical systems.
• strong technical and non-technical communication.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer recommended.
• 5-10 years of experience in mechanical/utility design.
• Experience in food & beverage, CPG, or industrial manufacturing projects.
• Familiarity with P&ID development and field tracing.
• Field experience in reviewing construction progress and commissioning.
