Description
Mobile Integrated Healthcare is the provision of healthcare using patient-centered, mobile resources in the out-of-hospital environment (American College of Emergency Physicians, At Henry Ford Health, Mobile Integrated Health is an integrated service designed to enhance a patient's experience by providing comprehensive, safe and efficient in-home care as an alternative to an emergency department visit or hospitalization.
The Mobile Integrated Health EMT-Basic Technician for Population Health Management is a member of the care team who is responsible for supplementing and supporting the care provided by the Mobile Integrated Health Medic and/or physician; by performing follow-up assessments, and diagnostic testing under the direction of a physician and/or MIH Medic in a patient's home or current residence.
