We are seeking a Demand Planner to support the development of advanced systems required for the design and build of artificial gravity human rated space stations.

This role reports to the Manager of Demand Planning and plays a critical part in ensuring material readiness across avionics and electronic hardware programs.

This is a high impact opportunity within a fast paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee demand, supply, and fulfillment planning for avionics and electronic hardware including EEE components, PCBs, PCBAs, and related commodities
Partner closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Mission Management to align planning processes with business objectives
Develop and manage KPIs to track material performance, identify risk, and drive continuous improvement across electronic component lifecycles
Maintain accuracy of Bills of Materials, part records, and master data within ERP systems
Manage commodity lead times and part availability to reduce supply chain disruption
Release procurement planning messages and coordinate with suppliers on long lead components
Ensure on time issuance of work orders and purchase orders to support production flow
Participate in Clear to Build and Material Readiness meetings, providing accurate material status updates
Update forecasts and supply plans in response to engineering change orders
Drive reporting visibility including Line of Balance, shortage analysis, and readiness dashboards
Monitor component lifecycle and obsolescence risks
Collaborate across cross functional teams to support aggressive program milestones

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
2 plus years of demand planning experience in a manufacturing environment
Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
Experience leading scheduling discussions with internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical skills with ability to make independent decisions
Ability to prioritize and manage competing objectives

Preferred Qualifications

Strong experience working with BOM structures and integration across ERP, MRP, PLM, and MES systems
Background in aerospace, avionics, high reliability electronics, or EV manufacturing
Knowledge of EEE component lifecycle management including obsolescence and part alternates
Understanding of PCB and PCBA manufacturing processes and traceability standards
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems and ITAR or EAR compliance requirements
Ability to thrive in a fast moving environment with evolving priorities
