    Description

    Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Enterprise Risk Officer responsible for providing risk oversight of Home Lending Servicing, with a focus on service transfer activities.

    Use subject matter expertise and business knowledge to provide independent risk oversight and credible challenge to front line service transfer activities
    Provide risk expertise and consulting to Home Lending Servicing, including the development of corrective action plans and effectively managing change
    Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems, and internal controls
    Develop, implement, monitor and interpret risk-based governance programs, create new policies and guidelines
    Utilize risk knowledge to issue resolutions for moderate to high-risk companywide projects and initiatives
    Resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet risk area, projects and process deliverables, while leveraging solid understanding of the risk policies, procedures and compliance requirements
    Lead and manage multiple concurrent initiatives
    Partner with managers to coordinate risk reporting to executive management, committees, and Board of Directors

    5+ years of Risk Management experience (Compliance, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, Credit Risk, Market Risk, IT Systems Security, Business Process Management) or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    3+ years SAS, SQL, or Tableau experience
    ~ Ability to clearly and concisely communicate (both written and verbal) with business partners, peers and senior management and lead discussions.
    ~ Superior ability to identify, evaluate, aggregate, and challenge risks – balancing the impact to customers, business, and bank.
    ~ superior ability to exercise independent judgment and apply prudent risk mitigation principles
    ~ Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
    ~ Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
    ~ Ability to manage multiple priorities and think strategically across multiple portfolios/investors from an end-to-end servicing view
    ~ Knowledge of Home Lending servicing systems, applicable tools, and automated decisioning tools
    ~ Knowledge of processes and risks associated with service transfer activities
