    SUMMARY OF POSITION:


    Provides assistance with the preparation and distribution of drug products under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, registered nurse or licensed provider.

    Maintains appropriate inventory of drug supplies and a system of control to ensure the integrity of the purchases, control of supplies and proper accounting for their distribution.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
    High School degree or equivalent

    Current Pharmacy Technician certification required

    Completed Sterile products training

    Competent in compounding sterile products after six (6) months of employment


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
    Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Certification Program preferred

    Minimum one (1) year of Pharmacy experience preferred, including preparation of IV solutions and chemotherapy
