Accreditation Specialist 1 Quality Patient & Safety at St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Overview St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking an Accreditation Specialist 1 to join our Quality Clinic Administration team.If you enjoy analyzing data and recommending improvements, this may be just the opportunity for you This position will be supporting our new Centers for Orthopedic Sports Medicine (COSM) facility in addition to other ambulatory clinics with regards to coordinating accreditation initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
Hours:
Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. No Weekends/Holidays. Responsibilities + Acts as the primary resource for assigned departments/sites for services related to the relevant regulatory program. + Conducts and coordinates accreditation/regulatory standards-based audits. + Assesses accreditation findings or risks, facilitates analysis, and recommends interventions. + Tracks and evaluates action plans in response to accreditation findings. + Supports implementation of system accreditation programs, in collaboration with stakeholders. + Documents and prepares reports for distribution to stakeholders. + Assists in the development and presentation of educational accreditation programs. + Applies accreditation standards and survey methodology to basic issues and problems; escalates more complex issues todepartment leadership. + Possesses novice/beginning to working level knowledge of subject matter. + Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications + Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education
+ Experience:
0 years; experience in an ambulatory/surgical setting; knowledge of accreditation standards; compliance auditing experience highly preferred
