    Job Description

    The responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain clear documentation for automation equipment and processes.
  • Assist in equipment procurement, installation, and perform assigned duties.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering, facilitating design changes and communicating recommendations.
  • Design fixtures and tooling, troubleshoot product and process issues, and undertake special assignments.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes for improvements, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure compliance with safety standards while participating in cross-functional meetings.

    The Successful Applicant

    The successful Manufacturing Engineer will:

  • Hold a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 10+ years of hands-on practical experience supporting the manufacturing floor, specifically working with automated machinery and processes
  • Showcase equipment troubleshooting skills, essential for debugging and resolving issues in existing systems.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills for conveying complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. Written communication skills are essential for record-keeping and documentation.
  • Display problem-solving and creative thinking abilities, necessary for troubleshooting and finding effective solutions.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and knowledge/experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies. What's on Offer
