Job summary
Provides patient care following established standards and practices. Assists physician with daily coordination of patient care and access.
- Patient Care: Observes records reports to physician patients condition reaction drugs treatments Instructs patient family diagnostic procedures medications nutrition health wellness issues Performs selected nursing duties documenting history vital signs immunizations allergies Prepares stocks cleans exam room maintains supplies equipment treatment Coordination of Care Provides complex basic nursing measures all age groups Assists physician clerical environmental organizational tasks Responsible appointment referral scheduling chart management providing information instructions patients coordinating flow Preparers room assists during examination treatment testing Patient Quality Administers prescribed medications in accordance nursing standards May perform phlebotomy EKG assist flex sigmoidoscopies Utilizes equipment supplies facilities resources prudent manner ensure efficient operations provision high-quality services Participates continuous quality improvement programs foster provision quality health care by department hospital ensures that all services provided compassion understanding respect others Performs other duties assigned requested
