- Responsible for reviewing historical data and industry trends to analyze and forecast workforce needs.
- Assists with developing models and scenarios to project staffing requirements based on business goals and objectives.
- Regularly updates workforce planning tools and systems to maintain accuracy and alignment.
- Partners closely with various functions within Shared Services, business leadership, and other stakeholders to understand business priorities.
- Assesses workforce plans, helps to make recommendations, and provides insights to Northwell decision-makers.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between workforce strategies and organizational goals.
- Regularly exercises independent judgement on matters of significance within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions and approaches.
- Identifies opportunities for efficiency improvements in resource allocation and utilization.
- Helps to make recommendations on new processes, tools, and services that can impact multiple projects and other functions.
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting out on workforce-related metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Stays informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in workforce planning.
- Understand department, division, corporate strategy and operating objectives; able to identify impacts.
- Decisions may be guided by precedent, previous experience, and known professional guidelines and compliance requirements. Often required to interpret policies, standards, requirements, and approaches to meet work objectives.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, or a related field, preferred.
- 13 years in workforce planning or a related analytical role, preferred.
