    Hartford Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their Cardiology Critical Care team The successful candidate will provide holistic and evidence-based care to critically ill patients admitted to the Cardiology Intensive Care Unit and Cardiology Step-Down Unit.

    Patient populations include Therapeutic Hypothermia, STEMI, TAVR, VAD, ECMO and other cardiogenic shock therapies. The successful critical care candidate will support patients across the care continuum and work collaboratively with specialty teams.

    Open to Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners
    Inpatient, cardiology critical care


    Schedule:
    Full-time, day/night rotating.

    Under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with the practice physician(s), Advanced Practitioners perform routine physical examinations, and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.

    In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Advanced Practitioners develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists.
