Overview:
The Nuclear Measurements and Analytical Services (NMAS) Group within Oak Ridge National Laboratory's (ORNL) Nuclear and Radiological Protection Division (NRPD) is seeking a professional to support the radiological specialty measurements program. ORNL is a world leader in advanced science and technology research involving several nonreactor nuclear facilities, accelerators, and the High Flux Isotope Reactor which involve a complex range of internal and external radiological hazards that are managed to protect researchers and operations staff involved in the Nuclear Research and Isotope Production Mission. This role ensures reliable operation of stack monitoring systems through calibrations, troubleshooting, audits, technical documentation, and life-cycle planning, while serving as a subject matter expert and supporting emergency response and incident investigations. All work is performed in compliance with ORNL's requirements and core values of safety, integrity, teamwork, and service.
