- Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique and may require remote MR Technologists Assistant oversite.
- Produces high quality diagnostic images. Operation of multiple MR systems may be required.
- Order Supplies, clean units, assist in preparing for transport on a daily basis.
- Demonstrates the ability to use all channels of communications to address concerns, solve problems, and address conflict.
- Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
- Trains and orients new technologists, patient coordinators and MR Technologist Assistants, on site and/or remote.

- Registered Technologist by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARMDS (Technologists with MR Technologist Assistant oversight must be MR registered. ARMRIT certification accepted as allowable by customer contract. If Akumin is billing Medicare, registry in Magnetic Resonance is Required.)
- MR registered technologist R.T. (MR) ARRT or ARMRIT
- Technologists registered in other modalities. (3 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience OR currently enrolled for more than 6 months in an accredited MRI training program.)
- State license (Licensed Radiologic Technologist or Magnetic Resonance Technologist, if applicable.)
- CPR Certification (BLS upon hire, ACLS within 90 days of employment, if applicable.)
- Technologists performing midday moves: Active State Driver's License required.
- Strong customer service skills
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.

As an MRI Technologist, you are responsible for patient safety and the performance of high-quality MR studies, including radiologists as necessary. When required, train, and orient new technologists, Patient Coordinators and/or MR Technologist Assistants.
