On a part-time limited basis, the Adjunct Faculty member's primary academic functions include teaching, discovering, creating, and reporting knowledge to a diverse set of students.
Part-time faculty must be able to teach Medical/Surgical nursing in college lab, simulation, and clinical courses.
Adjunct faculty members will be expected to (1) use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook-specific systems; (2) hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner; and (3) participate in at least one professional development workshop per year. All classes may be offered day or evening.
Essential FunctionsA BSN or higher from an approved registered nursing education program
Required Trainings/CertificationsCurrent, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio
Required ExperienceHave at least two (2) years of experience in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse.
Additional Qualifications ConsideredAt least one year of teaching experience in a college setting
A Master's degree or higher in Nursing
