Academic Surgical Oncologist

The School of Medicine, Department of Surgery at the University of California, Davis, Health System in Sacramento, California seeks to recruit a full-time Academic Surgical Oncologist at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level in the Clinical X, Health Science Clinical Professor or In-Residence series depending on experience and qualifications.

The candidate will be expected to participate in clinical care, teaching, research, and university service depending on academic series.

Expectations of the Health Science Clinical Professor series is to engage in clinical work, teaching and to support the departments research mission.

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Basic Qualifications (at the time of application):

• Must possess a Medical Degree
• Must be able to obtain a California Medical License
• Completion of an approved ACGME Surgical Oncology Fellowship
• Must be board certified or board eligible in Surgery

Expertise and an academic career interest in translational research is preferred
