- Establish and implement sales strategies and annual goals for the sales team.
- Travel throughout the northern region to train, observe, and assist the sales team with prospective and recurring customers to obtain new orders and preventative maintenance contracts.
- Coach, lead and manage the northern region Territory Managers.
- Partner with the Regional Operations Manager to drive growth and accountability.
- Set goals and rocks for your team (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
- Meet established scorecard expectations.
- Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews; follow up with coaching, goal setting, and performance improvement plans as necessary.
- Provide customer support and help resolve any concerns; partner with the inside sales team and engineering team.
- Collaborate with the sales team daily on scheduling visits and qualifying new sales leads.
- Oversee the management of the customer database.
- Prepare and submit reports on a timely basis as required.
- Communicate company initiatives and all necessary information to the sales team.
- Preferred minimum level of education/experience to include high school diploma.
- Strong selling, negotiating, and presentation skills.
- Experience with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in a fast-paced, outside sales environment in a leadership role; industrial equipment sales experience a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Air Compressors and/or Crane and Hoist a must.
