Job Summary

The Rehabilitation Supervisor assists in the coordination and management of daily operations within the inpatient departments of the hospital. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care, and promoting a collaborative work environment. The Rehabilitation Supervisor works closely with Rehab leadership to implement policies and procedures, maintain regulatory compliance, and optimize departmental efficiency.

Pay Range

Minimum $107,926 Midpoint $142,996 Maximum $178,066

Experience

• Required: Minimum of two (2) years supervisor/lead experience in a pediatric hospital or clinical setting.

• Preferred: Three (3) years of experience in licensed discipline desired.

Education

• Required: Master's degree or Doctoral degree in, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy.

Training

• Required: None required.

Specialized Skills

• Required: Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in rehabilitation medicine. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.

Licensure

• Required: Current California licensure in professional discipline. Occupational Therapist License – CA; Physical Therapist License – CA or Speech Language Pathologist – Board of Speech Language Pathology; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Work Environments - Functional Demand:

Light - Moderate energy level Lift and carry 25-35 lbs. Push/pull lbs. (ie. empty bed, stretcher).
