- Assessment: Perform accurate multi-system assessments, identify deviations from normal, reassess patients regularly, and complete discharge assessments
- Planning: Develop individual nursing plans, coordinate care activities with other departments, prioritize patient care, and classify patient acuity levels
- Implementation: Initiate necessary measures based on protocols, carry out physicians' care plans, document accurately, utilize multidisciplinary approach, and administer medications
- Evaluation: Evaluate assessment methods, care plans, and patient responses, participate in quality assurance activities
- Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience
- One (1) year recent Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facility RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse License
- Basic Life Support
- NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 3 months of hire
- Computer keyboarding skills
- Experience in acute care or skilled nursing, effective problem solving, communication skills
- Two (2) years recent Med/Surg experience, demonstrated clinical judgment in orthopedic patients, Med/Surg Certification
